Ghost in the Shell - Early concept work

I got to work on some early concepts for Ghost in the Shell along with the Weta team. This was an idea for the skeleton and "shell" construction. I liked the idea of making the internal structure very machine like and using 3D printing to lay over various dermal structures, which would use a displacement system to generate the look and feel of skin. Christian Pearce, the clever sod, did a beautiful design using a very light weight skeletal frame which this was based off of.
