Time Bandits! What a blast it was to work on this one! I am a huge Terry Gilliam/Pytho fan so to work on a property directly connected to their work was a real privilege. Working with Production Designer Ra Vincent, Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement to come up with an idea for the Supreme Being's Big head!
I had the idea for the 3 faced design from "Les Trifrons" which was an artistic representation of "The Father, Son and Holy Spirit" from the Christian religion. As this was going to be the Supreme Beings "avatar" when appearing to the bandits I thought this might be appropriate.
The design for the "Sky Citadel" changed and was initially based of Ian Mcque's amazing work brought to life in a great miniature by Steven Saunders and the crew! Check out the work on that here...
